Chris started his own firm, Fuse Studio, in 2005, focusing on residential and restaurant design and managing several significant public art projects for the City of Denver.  While managing his own firm, Chris began serving as an essential contributor on several DAVISURBAN projects.  His extensive restaurant experience brought Mas Kaos to fruition for DAVISURBAN, as well as several other significant projects including 900 Penn and the Pecos Residence.  As of 2017, Chris is happily bringing Fuse Studio and its experience and passion to the DAVISURBAN family full-time.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, and his MArch from The Ohio State University and has taught as adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado, Boulder School of Environmental Design for years.  He is considered a leader and innovator in his field. Chris is also an active parent of two daughters in northwest Denver, often coaching soccer and trying to escape to the mountains for ski days whenever possible.

Zachary Zemljak is an Architectural Designer for DAVISURBAN. He has added a fresh perspective to DAVISURBAN projects. Before coming to DAVISURBAN, he worked as an Architectural Designer for Munn Architecture. While pursuing his MArch degree from the University of Colorado, Zach developed a passion for architecture's responsibility to solve complex problems and respond to societal narratives that can otherwise go unseen.

Zach was attracted to DAVISURBAN because of the high standards for quality design, and the firm's capability to consolidate a variety of factors into elegant design solutions.  At the core, Zach believes architecture is about identity, and that each project should express its uniqueness through both it's process and solution. DAVISURBAN achieves this by approaching each project with an open-mind, and developing solutions that are unique to that concept. When Zach is not solving complex problems, he is usually reading, cooking and spending time outdoors.

AAron Gray

Aaron Gray comes to DAVISURBAN as an architectural designer with a background as a builder and custom fabricator. Prior to joining the firm, Aaron was an Operational Manager at a local digital fabrication company, where he further developed his appreciation for the personal effect that design has on daily human interaction and comfort. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado and a Class B Contractors License.

The foundation of Aaron’s belief that everyone has the right to well-designed, functional spaces, can be attributed to his architectural lineage and an interest in the economic factors that drive development. He was drawn to DAVISURBAN for the firm’s commitment to urban infill, adaptive reuse, and custom detailing. He is thrilled to be part of a firm that strives to positively affect the exploding local urban landscape.
